After earning an Emmy nomination for ‘Special Visual Effects’ on season 1, SPIN returned to The Umbrella Academy for season 2, with Carrie Richardson and Jeff Campbell reprising their roles as Supervising VFX Producer and Visual Effects Supervisor, respectively.

Season 2 of the fan-favourite series included even more bombastic effects, including the iconic Battle Dallas opening sequence, and the Five vs. The Commission blood-fest – both of which were ‘oners’.

Using our motion capture suit and 360 degree scanning rig, SPIN was responsible for all on-set scanning for the ambitious CG work. Our team delivered fully CG characters, environments, huge destructions, crowds, and the beloved “superpower” effects of the Hargreeves family for The Umbrella Academy S2.
